Set in the beautiful Welsh countryside there are plenty of historical surrounding villages to explore in the local areas.

The famous falls of the river Teifi at Cenarth, the beautiful beaches of Penbryn, Tresaith, Mwnt, Cymtydu and Poppit Sands gives you plenty of scope for walking or swimming. If you're more energetic, there's golfing, swimming and boating at Cardigan, plus paintballing and go-carting nearby to keep you busy. The Woolen Museum at Drefach Felindre, Cilgerran castle and Henllan steam railway are just a few of the cultural places to visit.

Local Area - Llanon near Aberaeron

To the south of the river Teifi at Cardigan you can visit St Davids, the ancient hills of Preseli, the burial chamber of Pentre Ifan and the Celtic Cross at Nevern.

Close to coast of Cardigan Bay, in the County of Ceredigion there are many coastal paths and beaches nearby.

On day visits, guests can comfortably reach such attractions as Dylan Thomas country at Laugharne. At Aberystwyth the vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway, the National Library of Wales with nearby Devil's Bridge and Strata Florida Abbey.

Tiny fishing villages dot the coastal nearby with small harbours at Aberaeron, New Quay, Aberystwyth, Cardigan and many to the south of the River Teifi in Pembrokeshire. Visits to local town of Newcastle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire which is interesting especially on market days, as is the monthly horse market at Llanbydder.
